one year for halloween, when I was in elementary school, I was a movie theatre floor.
When I tell people this their first reation is a look of confusion, soon followed with "what does that mean?"
well, for my costume, i wore a black sweat shirt and sweat pants with candy and popcorn glued to me.
I also had an empty popcorn bucket glued to my shirt.
I even went as far as painting the bottom of a shoe white then stepping on the shirt, leaving a nasty looking foot print behind.
I was covered in snow caps, skittles, sweet tarts, and even empty candy boxes.
It was by far the cutest home made costume i've ever seen.
It was adorable. I even wont a costume contest at school because of it.
it was awesome!

Silent Hill
I'm not a person who is easily scared at all. However, there is one movie that freaks me out every single time I watch it.
That movie is Silent Hill.
The movie is based on a series of horror video games, in which you are playing as a character trying to navigate their way through the decrepit remains of a town called Silent Hill. The town is full of things you'd only find in your worst nightmares. The first three games are actually on the list of top 10 scariest video games.
Anyway, the movie is scary because you have no idea what is going on through the whole thing.
In the movie, the main character, Rose, is confronted by numerous nightmarish creatures while on her quest to find her daughter who had been lost after they got in a car wreck on their way to Silent hill.
Just the creatures that can be found in the town are horrifying.
They include children that seem to be made of burning ash, zombie-esque nurses that are attracted to light, and terrifying men with pyramid shaped masks covering their heads.
She navigates her way through the horrific town of Silent Hill with only the help of a police officer named Cybil Bennett. While looking for her child, she uncovers the terrible truth of the town and what happened to it.
the movie is genuinely scary, not gorey. and that's why I love it so much.
it's probably my favorite scary movie ever.

The Ritzy's Ghost
Everyone loves Ritzy's.
Everyone knows how good our food is.
Everyone knows how good the ice cream is.
Everyone knows how nice the people are that work there.
But what most people don't know is that Ritzy's is haunted.
One night, I was standing up front by myself, not a single customer was in the dining roomand all of the other workers were in the back. all of a sudden I heard a male voice whisper "hey!" right into my ear.
I ran back and told my manager about it. The first thing she said was "it's about time you've had an experience"
then she proceeded to tell me about how one night after she had just become one of the managers she was closing by herself, and no one else was in the store, yet she heard a crashing noise from up front. she ran up there as quickly as possible to find all of the pints and quarts had fallen off of the shelf. Shortly after that, one of the other managers came up and asked if we were talking about the ghost. he then told me about the time he was in the office counting money before he left, and he heard the Walk in refrigerator AND freezer door open at the same exact time. He told us he could even hear the fans running in the freezer, that's how far the doors had open.
Then, the one of the girls I work with told everyone about how she was mopping the tile floor after we were closed one night, and all the doors were closed and locked, yet she still heard the bells on the door jingle as if someone had just opened the door.
finally, that night, after everyone had shared their ghost stories, I was about to leave, and there was still not a single customer in the restaurant, and I heard the guys' bathroom door close by itself.

halloween night
the sights, the sounds.
the leaves on the ground.
the masks and costumes.
the witches on brooms.
surely they're in for some treats,
but not without tricks, perhaps fake spiders or ticks.
maybe a frightening "boo!"
the sounds, the sights,
all part of the frights
found on
halloween night.

fall
to me, fall is depressing.
Everything dies, and it gets cold outside.
It's like everything's asleep.
Everything is so dull, it makes me upset.
Everything dies, and it gets cold outside.
It's like everything's asleep.
Everything is so dull, it makes me upset.
