Normally, I wouldn't use a prompt to write, because i find that when I am told to write about something, I cant. But, I find this proverb to be especially true, as there have been many times where my friendships have "halved grief" for me.
For example, I've been going through a whole lot of personal issues for the past 6 months. On days that I feel like giving up, I find strength through my friends, and I stop myself from giving up.

-Kate Nash
My friends (well, my true friends) helped me realize that with enough support from the people around you, you can get through anything. Through these months, my friends have been nothing but supportive, and it makes everything easier for me.
I love my friends like they're family, especially my best friends Katie Higdon and Kalyn Jones. They're the most supportive, trustworthy people I know. I have no idea what I would do with them. When I feel like I can't deal with someone, or when I have another anxiety attack, they're the first people I go to. Just talking to them makes me feel better instantly.
I'm glad to have such great friends.
